Hi! I'm Rebecca Alicki- a mom of 3 and a lover of words. This love affair turned into a blog some years ago by the name The Bectionary Definition; "Bectionary" a nickname given lovingly by some friends who needed a dictionary to follow along in conversation with me.

In my professional life, I have an amazing career at one of the world's largest healthcare nonprofits and have held various clinical and administrative positions throughout my employment. Formerly, I was responsible for vetting applications and conducting interviews which gave me perfect insight to know what your interviewer is looking for when reviewing your resume and cover letter.

Over the years, I have turned into my family and friends' "go-to gal" for anything writing related. Need someone to proof-read your college essay? Gladly. Realtor market savvy but cannot get through writing the listing? Welcome home! I have built resumes for maintenance employees and websites for tree-cutting businesses.
